Keep photos and videos in one entry

Pogaem entries support videos alongside photos: up to 30 seconds and 90 MiB on Lite, or 2 minutes and 360 MiB on Premium. Record in the app or choose from the device gallery; videos are prepared as playable MP4 files before saving.

This suits moments where motion and sound matter, such as first steps, exercise form, or a performance scene. Choosing the key segment you want to revisit can keep entries lighter than retaining a long source recording.

Add a video to an entry

Select the date and open a new entry or edit an existing one, then choose Add Video. Use the camera or gallery according to where the source is.

  1. Open the target calendar and date.

  2. Tap Add Video in the entry editor.

  3. Choose Record Video or Select Video.

  4. Check the prepared video's order alongside photos, title, and text.

  5. Review length limits and any excluded-item notices, then save.

Personal calendars require Lite or Premium for new videos

Adding a new video to a personal calendar requires Lite or Premium. Free users selecting a video see feature guidance and can continue recording photos separately.

Viewing already-saved videos and adding new ones have different conditions after a plan change. Confirm current permissions and prices on the in-app payment screen.

Shared calendars follow the owner's plan

New-video eligibility in shared calendars depends on the owner, not the uploading participant. The owner must have Lite or Premium for members to add videos.

Shared media uses the owner's cloud allowance. Before suggesting a participant pay, check the calendar owner and current writing availability in settings.

Creating a calendar from an album excludes videos

Device-album calendar creation imports photos only. Videos do not automatically join at that stage even with Lite or Premium.

To organize videos across dates, first create the calendar, then manually select photos and videos under Add Media to Multiple Dates. Only selected items are processed there.

Check video conditions before saving

Videos that exceed limits or cannot be prepared on the device may be excluded. Keep source files until playback and saving are confirmed in Pogaem before organizing separate backups.

  • Check Lite's 30-second/90 MiB or Premium's 2-minute/360 MiB limits.

  • Confirm the intended photo and video display order.

  • For shared calendars, check the owner's plan and online state.

  • After saving, verify normal playback in entry details.

Frequently asked questions

Can Free add new videos?

New videos in personal calendars require Lite or Premium. Free can continue saving photos, titles, and text.

Can a Lite participant upload to any shared calendar?

Are album videos imported when creating a calendar?

No. That flow imports photos only. Add videos afterward through an entry or Add Media to Multiple Dates.
