Comments belong to shared-calendar entries

Pogaem comments appear in shared calendars, not private personal calendars. Open a day's entry containing photos, videos, title, or text to continue a conversation below it with other members.

Comments attach to the whole entry rather than one picture. Several photos on one card therefore share a conversation list, keeping its day and context together.

Write a shared-entry comment

Open the shared entry's details first. Leading and trailing spaces are trimmed before saving, and empty comments cannot be sent.

  1. Open the shared calendar from Home.

  2. Select the entry from its calendar or album.

  3. Enter no more than 300 characters in the comment field below it.

  4. Tap Send and check that the comment appears.

Correct comments by deleting and reposting

Pogaem does not support comment editing. Instead of changing a sent sentence without a revision record, delete the mistaken comment and post a new one.

Deleted comments disappear without a ‘Deleted comment’ placeholder. For important arrangements or lengthy explanations, shorter pieces that can be checked separately may be clearer.

Who can delete comments

Authors can delete their own comments, and the shared-calendar owner can remove comments within that calendar. Ordinary participants cannot delete other people's comments.

Deletion includes another confirmation that it cannot be undone. There is no restore feature, so owners should check necessary content before removing someone else's comment.

Offline access is read-only

Previously received comments remain readable with the entry when internet access ends. New-comment input is disabled, and offline drafting for automatic later sending is unsupported.

If the input field is unavailable, check connectivity. Reopen the entry after reconnecting to write a new comment.

Reach the commented entry through notifications

With comment notifications enabled, Updates opens the relevant record directly. This reduces searching across calendars and dates for context.

Control receipt through global and per-calendar comment settings. To keep commenting while silencing one calendar, disable only that calendar's alerts.

Frequently asked questions

Can I comment in a personal calendar?

No. Comments are available only for shared entries viewed by active members. Personal calendars have no comment field.

Can I edit a sent comment?

No. Delete the incorrect comment and write a new one. The removed comment disappears without a placeholder.

Can an owner delete other people's comments?

Yes. Authors can delete their own comments; shared-calendar owners can delete comments in their calendar. Deletion is irreversible.
