Missing a photo does not erase the day

Not every memorable moment is photographed. A child's first words, a scent outside, or a complicated feeling may be better captured by sentences.

Pogaem cards do not require images. A title or body alone creates a dated text entry.

Create a text-only entry

  1. Choose the calendar and date.

  2. Open New Entry without adding photos or videos.

  3. Type a memorable sentence in the title or body.

  4. Save and check the text card on that date.

A title or body alone is enough

Save only a title such as ‘First walk after the rain,’ or write a long body without a title. Both fields are not required.

If there is no media and both text fields are blank, nothing is saved. This prevents accidental empty cards from accumulating.

Add photos later while keeping the original date

When a photo becomes available after writing, open Edit in entry details and add media while retaining the existing title and body.

Date changes may be handled as a separate action, so check the selected date if you also intend to move it. When only adding photos, verify the original record date first.

Use text-only shared entries for short updates

Shared calendars support text-only records too. A family parenting calendar might preserve ‘Said their name for the first time today’ when no photo captured the change.

Participants can read shared text, so consider the audience before adding private details or others' information. An entry without images is still shared content.
