Narrow two kinds of scope when photos accumulate
If the full album is hard to search visually, recall both the likely calendar and approximate date. Pogaem lets you choose those conditions on one filter screen.
Remembering only one is fine. Use calendar or dates alone, or combine them to keep only photos matching both.
Apply an album filter
Tap the filter icon at the top right of Album.
Select one or more calendars.
Tap the period and choose start and end dates.
Tap Apply and inspect the narrowed list.
No calendar selected means all calendars
No selection does not mean zero results; it means all calendars currently accessible. To return to that scope, choose All Calendars to clear individual selections.
You can also select multiple calendars, such as family and parenting, to view related topics within the same period.
Dates use the local date at capture
The range compares saved local capture dates. Changing the phone time zone after travel does not recalculate an already-recorded destination date into the current zone.
Both endpoints are included. To view one day, choose the same start and end date.
Check the active indicator and reset
An indicator appears on the icon when filters apply. If expected photos are missing, inspect leftover calendar and date choices before assuming an access problem.
Reset in the filter screen returns to all calendars and all dates. After changing conditions, check the first and last photos' dates to quickly confirm the intended range.
Frequently asked questions
Will choosing no calendars hide all photos?
No. An empty calendar selection includes all currently accessible calendars.
Can I select several calendars together?
Yes. Choose two or more to combine their photos within the same date range.
Do filter dates use the phone's current time zone?
They use the local capture dates saved with photos. Changing device time zone does not recalculate existing dates.
