Resetting data is different from account deletion

Reset Data removes content for a fresh start using the same Pogaem account. Success does not sign you out; the account and current session remain.

An existing subscription remains too. Reset is not cancellation or a refund, so decide about content deletion and subscription management separately.

What the reset removes

Server content is deleted first, followed by local database data and related files. This prevents local originals disappearing first when server deletion fails.

Cards, photos, videos, and comments you added to others' shared calendars may remain on the server for remaining members. Precise locations of retained media and your location-sharing consent are removed.

  • Owned personal and shared calendars and their entries

  • Photos, videos, titles, and text linked to owned entries

  • Owned-calendar content files and pending-sync information on the current device

  • Scheduled reminders and home-widget entry images for deleted owned calendars

What remains after reset

Staying signed in after reset is expected. Shared calendars owned by others can reappear during sync if their server membership remains after the local cache clears. You can also create new calendars with the same account.

  • Pogaem account and login session

  • Active subscription and account plan status

  • Local app preferences such as fonts

  • Service-notice preferences and this device's notification registration

  • Server membership and retained content in calendars owned by others

Reset Pogaem data

  1. First preserve needed calendars as ZIP, PDF, or device-gallery files according to your purpose.

  2. Open Data Management in Settings.

  3. Choose Reset Data and read the deletion scope and subscription-retention notice.

  4. Enter RESET exactly in the confirmation field.

  5. Run reset and verify that owned calendars disappear while login remains active.

Why an internet connection is required

Reset deletes owned server content, not just device cache. It therefore requires an authenticated session able to contact the server and an internet connection.

Local content remains untouched until server success is confirmed. If an error interrupts the process, check connectivity and retry the same reset to complete both sides.

Create and verify backups first

There is no recycle bin or recovery grace period for reset. Signing in on another device cannot retrieve owned entries already deleted from the server.

Use ZIP or media downloads for photo and video files, or PDF for readable records. Verify that backups actually open before resetting.

Frequently asked questions

Will Reset Data sign me out?

No. Account and session remain after success, allowing you to begin new records with the same account.

Does resetting cancel an active subscription?

No. Reset retains it. Manage subscriptions separately through Account and the relevant store.

What do I enter to confirm reset?

Enter RESET exactly to enable the action. Deleted calendars, photos, and entries cannot be restored afterward.

Are my photos in someone else's calendar deleted too?

Your cards, photos, videos, and comments may remain for other members. They can resync if server membership remains after local cache clearing. Precise retained-media locations and your location consent are removed.
