Account deletion has the widest scope
Deleting the account goes beyond signing out. Pogaem deletes owned calendars, photos, videos, and entries from the server, clears related data on the current device, then removes the session and account.
Cards, photos, videos, and comments you contributed to others' shared calendars may be retained for remaining members. Precise locations of retained media and your location-sharing consent are removed.
Deleted content cannot be restored. If you only want a break or another account, consider whether signing out better fits your purpose.
Subscription cancellation and account deletion are separate
You can delete your account immediately even with an active store subscription. Deletion does not cancel that subscription automatically, so cancel auto-renewal separately in the relevant store if you want to prevent the next payment.
The app's deletion button does not cancel store billing or decide refunds. Identify the subscription store in Account and Billing History, then manage it in that store's interface.
Check what to keep before deleting
Prepare a calendar ZIP backup or media downloads to retain photo and video files.
Save a PDF if you want readable dates and text in a document.
If you own a shared calendar, tell its members about the intended deletion first.
Open the resulting backup from its actual storage location to verify it.
Delete the account
Tap the profile at the top of Settings to open Account.
If subscribed, check auto-renewal in the relevant store and cancel it separately if you do not want another payment.
Tap Delete Account and read the deletion scope.
Enter DELETE exactly in the confirmation field.
Run deletion and confirm that the login screen appears.
Read the email re-registration warning
The confirmation screen states that you cannot sign up again with the deleted email. If you may return using the same social-login email, take that warning into account.
If you want to empty owned records while continuing the account, Reset Data may fit better. It keeps account, login, and subscription, but deleted owned content still cannot be recovered.
If deletion fails, verify state before assuming completion
An ongoing AI task or a network or server issue may prevent deletion from finishing. Follow the guidance and try again after the task finishes or the connection stabilizes. Avoid repeatedly tapping the button during processing.
Successful deletion removes the session and returns to login. If the screen remains and an error appears, check the account state rather than assuming it is gone.
