Find a Day's Diary Entry from an Album Photo

Sometimes a scene comes back before its date

You may recall colors or a place without remembering the date or note. Browsing album images can then be faster than stepping through calendars month by month.

Pogaem's Album gathers photos from calendars the account can access. Its visual focus makes scenes useful clues for finding entries.

Open an entry from Album

1. 1

Open the Album tab at the bottom of Pogaem.

2. 2

Scroll through photos grouped by month.

3. 3

Tap the image of a familiar scene once.

4. 4

Review the opened entry's title, body, and media grouped on the same card.

Photos follow their capture dates

Album order uses saved capture time and the local date at capture. Moving to another time zone or changing the phone zone does not arbitrarily shift established dates.

Recent scenes appear first, separated where months change. An approximate season or trip period can guide you to the relevant month.

Linked photos open entry details directly

A photo linked to a diary card opens that entry's detail view, where you can read its title and body and browse the other photos and videos in order.

Older photos created without entry-link information may open their calendar instead. This is a fallback preserving access to old data, not necessarily an error.

Narrow a broad album with filters

If scenes alone are hard to find among many photos, combine calendar and date filters. Narrowing to family or travel calendars makes similar images easier to distinguish.

Album shows photos only, not videos. If your clue is a video, estimate the date and inspect entries in the relevant calendar.
