The three actions target different things

Sign Out, Reset Data, and Delete Account appear near account controls but serve different purposes. Decide whether you want another login, a fresh start with the same account, or removal of the account itself.

Reset and account deletion include irreversible content removal. Review the deletion scope and subscription state rather than choosing by button name alone.

Signing out does not delete local records

Sign Out ends the current authentication session and returns to login. As the confirmation explains, photos and entries stored on this device remain.

Signing out alone is insufficient if you also want local files removed from a shared device. Conversely, changing accounts temporarily does not require a full reset or account deletion.

Reset Data keeps the account

Reset deletes owned calendars, photos, and entries from server and device while retaining account, login, subscription, and app settings. Membership in others' shared calendars may remain on the server, letting them reappear after sync.

You must type RESET to proceed. Resetting is possible with an active subscription and does not cancel it.

Account deletion removes the account too

Deletion clears owned server content and current-device data, then ends the session. Contributions to others' shared calendars may remain for other members, while precise locations of retained media and your location consent are removed.

You can delete your account with an active store subscription. Deletion does not replace subscription cancellation or refunds, so cancel auto-renewal separately in the relevant store if you do not want another payment.

Choose according to your purpose

  • To log into another account, sign out.

  • To start records over with the same account and subscription, consider Reset Data.

  • To stop using the Pogaem account itself, review Account Deletion's scope.

  • If photos and entries must be retained, create backups before resetting or deleting.

Open backups before deletion

Owned records removed through reset or account deletion cannot be downloaded again from Pogaem's server. Keep photos and videos through ZIP or media downloads and readable documents through PDF.

Do not stop at a file-created message; open it from its storage location. Check subscription state separately before the final deletion step.

Frequently asked questions

Does signing out delete Pogaem photos on the device?

No. The sign-out confirmation states that local photos and entries remain. Only the account session ends.

What is the main difference between resetting and deleting the account?

Reset keeps account, login, and subscription; deletion removes owned content and the account and ends the session. Both may retain contributions to others' shared calendars.

Can I reset while subscribed?

Yes. Reset keeps your subscription. Account deletion is also available while subscribed, but does not automatically cancel the subscription.

What happens to my contributions in someone else's calendar?

Cards, photos, videos, and comments may remain for other members. Reset or deletion removes precise locations of retained media and your location-sharing consent.
