Retrieve just the photo you need
You may want one shared-calendar image or a photo uploaded from an old device. Save it from photo details without creating a full backup.
The saved item is Pogaem's stored photo file, not the small thumbnail. If the calendar used Space Saver or Standard quality, the quality applied at initial storage remains the source.
Save one photo
Open the desired photo's detail screen from the calendar or album.
Tap the download icon at the top.
If prompted, grant the gallery access needed to save.
Wait for completion, then find the file in the device gallery.
Another device's photo may need downloading first
If the file is absent on this device, Pogaem downloads the cloud version before saving it to the gallery. A visible photo does not prove the original is already local.
The connection and availability of the cloud original matter here. Retry on a stable network if mobile connectivity is unreliable.
Check permissions, then connectivity after failure
First confirm that Pogaem can add items to the device gallery. If permission is disabled, change its photo access in phone settings before retrying.
If permission is fine, check the network. A failed cloud download or missing server original prevents gallery saving. The failed attempt does not delete the app's entry.
Use album selection for several images
Photo details are simple for one or two files. For photos across several entries, Album selection is more convenient. To save every photo and video in one card, use its Download Media action.
Saving the same photo repeatedly can create gallery duplicates. After a completion notice, check the gallery before tapping again.
Frequently asked questions
Does saving from photo details save a thumbnail?
No. It saves the stored photo file, retaining the quality applied when originally recorded.
Can internet be required even when I can see the image?
Yes. A thumbnail may be local while the photo file remains in the cloud. An absent local file must be downloaded first.
Does a failed download remove the photo in the app?
No. Gallery-save failure does not delete the record. Check permission and connectivity and retry.
