Reading and hiding organize notifications differently

Marking read changes only acknowledgment status, leaving the update listed. Use it if you may want to revisit a comment or new-member activity later.

Hiding removes the selected update from the list. It suits an already-checked item you no longer need and is not the same action as marking read.

Mark unread updates together

Mark All Read is available only when unread items exist. It briefly disables during processing to prevent duplicate requests.

  1. Open Updates in Pogaem.

  2. Check the unread indicators in the list.

  3. Tap Mark All Read on the right.

  4. Confirm that unread markers and the app's notification count update.

Hide one update

Swipe the notification row left to reveal a delete-style background. Swiping fully removes it immediately and recalculates the unread count.

If the server update fails because of connectivity, the list reloads to match its actual state. If an item returns after briefly disappearing, check the network and retry.

Opening an item marks it read too

Tapping an unread update marks it read while opening the linked entry or members screen. Navigation and saving the read state are separate so waiting for the latter does not delay the screen change.

If an unread marker returns after you go back, refresh to check server state. A failed read-state save restores the list to the server's actual values.

Load older updates in batches

Updates initially loads the latest 30 items. If older activity exists, tap Load More at the bottom to continue with the next batch.

Pull down to refresh. This aligns the list after reading on another device or receiving a new notification.

Control future notifications in settings

Organizing Updates handles notifications already created. To change whether future comments or shared entries notify you, use notification and per-calendar settings.

Adjust unwanted types or calendars instead of repeatedly hiding all their updates to keep the list more concise.

Frequently asked questions

Does Mark All Read delete notifications?

No. It clears unread status and keeps items listed. Swipe an individual row left to hide it.

Can I mark just one notification read?

Yes. Opening an unread item marks it read and takes you to its linked entry or members screen.

How many older notifications load at once?

They load in groups of 30. Use Load More at the bottom for the next 30 when older updates exist.
